For authors

  • Each accepted paper must have at least one author registered at a professional member rate. Papers for which the only registered authors are students must have one of the students register at the full (i.e., non-student) rate. Note that this policy does not apply to doctoral symposium papers.
  • One author registration is enough, even if presenting several, co-authored papers.
  • The ICSME research track author registration deadline is 15 July 2018.

    We have planned a post-ICSME one-day Cultural visit to El Escorial on Saturday, September 29, which includes:

  • Transportation to El Escorial (departing 9 AM) and back to Madrid (arriving 7 PM)
  • Tapa + refreshment after some hiking
  • Special lunch in La Cueva, a renowned restaurant in San Lorenzo del Escorial

    Cost: 50 €/per person.

  • DysDoc3 attendance is free for ICSME, SCAM and VISSOFT participants, but it is mandatory to specify attendance in the registration form.

  • ICSME Pre-reception on Tuesday

    ICSME Doctoral Symposium (only by invitation) includes:

  • Doctoral Symposium attendance

Invitation letter for visa

First the prospective participants need to pay the registration fee, then you can issue an invitation letter (therefore, please contact congresos@fgua.es) and only then they can apply for a visa.

Students

You must certify your student status by means of some academic document (for example, a copy of your university fees pay-slip) or a letter from your thesis supervisor, departmental or institutional director, or dean of faculty. When registering, please select the "student" option, whereupon a tool for attaching documents will open automatically.

If you have problems attaching the document, it can be sent by email to this address of the Technical Secretary: congresos@fgua.es. Please note, this is not the address of the Organising Committee, but the University Foundation in charge of the registration process.

Notice: Please include your name in the text field of the bank transfer and send a copy of the receipt to congresos@fgua.es.

Cancellation Policy

  • Registration cancellation requests must be sent in writing to the Technical Secretary of the FundaciĆ³n Universidad de Alcalá by fax (+34 91 879 74 55) or by email (congresos@fgua.es).
  • Cancellations made before July 29, 2018 will receive full reimbursement less a 15% deduction for administration expenses.
  • Cancellations requested after July 30, 2018 will not be entitled to any refund of the fee paid.

Other conditions

All registrations must be accompanied by payment. Registration will not be effective until the payment is confirmed.

We cannot ensure welcome package (i.e., conference bag and souvenir) for registrations after September 19, 2018.
